April in Game of Thrones: Conquest is the celebration of the Iron Anniversary!

Throughout this month, enjoy a 40% boost to both Steel Efficiency and Forge Speed. By participating in events in this series, you’ll obtain materials to craft past gear sets and trinkets. This is a great time to complete your Armory Sets and Trinket Collections!
Iron Anniversary Tokens
During the Iron Anniversary, you’ll earn Iron Anniversary Tokens from participating in crafting events. You can exchange these tokens to complete limited-time Recipes for Hero Relics. Now’s the time to round out your hero collection!
Iron Anniversary Gift
We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Game of Thrones television series with a special Iron Anniversary gift! Head in-game on April 16th to claim it from your Message Center.
PVP Preview
To help you coordinate and prepare with your allegiance, here are the following PVP events happening for the month of April!
Kingdom vs Kingdom – War For The Throne: April 9th
The first PVP event of the month is KvK – War for the Throne. This is a unique game mode where you can join your allegiance and secure Seats of Power at home or across the Narrow Sea to earn points and exclusive KvK Pawn Shards. Read our guide to help prepare for this event!
The Climb: April 24th
The Climb returns this month for those that would like to compete in Strategic Terrain events! In this PVP event, points are earned by attacking Strategic Terrain and Seats of Power. Keep in mind that points are not earned by attacking players at Keeps. Let us know if you have any feedback on this event as we’d love to hear about your experiences!
Lord of Light: April 30th
Rounding out the end of the month, Lord of Light will be taking place! In this event, any troop that would have been killed in battle will be wounded instead. Additional boosts to Medic Tent capacity and reduced healing costs will help you return to the battlefield!
Event Adjustments
Trinket Flashbacks
In the last couple of months, we have seen repeated requests from our community about Trinket material scarcity. We have taken this feedback to improve on how we rotate Trinket materials.
Thus we will be expanding how we traditionally approach Trinket Flashback events. In the past, we would introduce a single Trinket Armory Collection that featured 3 previously release trinkets. Now we will be focusing on 3 Trinket Armory collections per month.
With this Players will no longer have to wait a year for crafting materials to come back into circulation for older Trinkets.
The way Trinket Flashback events work will not be changing otherwise, and you should expect to see the new version of the Trinket Flashback event on April 3rd 2021!

Varys’s Riddle
We are looking into adjustments for the Varys’s Riddle weekend event arc (The King’s Shadow, The Priest’s Shadow, and The Rich Man’s Shadow). These updated events will be available for select kingdoms starting April 16th.
Our objective is to better reward and incentivize participation across all 3 events. We’ll be doing this by having points earned from Building, Research, and Troop Training contribute to a new progressive meta event and increasing the overall value of rewards!
