Greetings!
Join us as we walk through the adjustments to this weekend’s Varys Riddle events (The King’s Shadow, The Priest’s Shadow, and The Rich Man’s Shadow.)
Goal
Our objective is to better reward and incentivize participation across all 3 events. In these initial runs we will be doing this by having points earned from Building, Research, and Troop Training contribute to a new progressive meta event. Thus increasing the overall value of rewards!
Tweaks
We want to make sure we are properly rewarding folks who participate across all three events. Thus we will be trying out different variants to see which one folks like and participate in more.
There will be 2 variants of this event for our next run on April 16th. Each kingdom will get a single variant. If you do not see your kingdom, you will receive the standard event ( Variant A ) that you’ve seen before.
- Variant B will add an additional progressive event to the Varys Riddle event arc. You can complete this by participating in the event arc as you usually would by earning Varys’s Riddle Event Points.

- 672, 673, 674, 675, 676, 679, 683, 684, 690, 698, 705, 706, 707, 709, 719, 723, 725, 728, 730, 731, 734, 735, 737, 742, 744, 752, 755
- The following kingdoms will be participating in this variant.
- Variant C will take the additional progressive rewards and instead spread them out across the entire event arc.

- The following kingdoms will be participating in this variant.
